Tell us about your experience with our site. There are tricks you can do to get the driver to install despite the fact that it’s not from Dell Right now resolution x is OK, but I would really like x! Computer manufacturers may not support use. There is a very clever program called resolution that modifies the video bios to support otherwise unavailable video modes.


In the BIOS, apparently only p is disabled. If these fields are filled, new resolutions miraculously become available. Thanks for marking this as the answer.

It’s all there in the Modeline: But I dont have this resolution on my Notebook. Of course, we don’t do that, but we do have to take those times and widrscreen number of pixels we could be filling those times with in order to write our timings.
